Babylon Dental Care Welcomes Danielle Dean, RDH
Danielle completed her dental hygiene education at Plaza College in Queens, where she developed her clinical skills and built a strong foundation in patient-centered care. She holds her dental hygiene license and has completed certifications in local anesthesia and nitrous oxide.
Originally from Florida, Danielle relocated to New York during the Covid-19 pandemic. After moving she worked as a nanny before transitioning into the dental field. Following the completion of her bachelor’s degree, Danielle began working in a dental office and quickly discovered her passion for dentistry, leading her to pursue a career as a dental hygienist.
Danielle said her approach to patient care is centered on creating a supportive and comfortable environment where patients feel informed and confident throughout their appointments. She enjoys meeting patients where they are, taking the time to explain each step of the process, and helping individuals feel at ease during their dental visits.
“I really enjoy meeting each patient where they’re at and supporting them through the experience,” said Danielle. “I like to talk to patients, break everything down, and help them feel comfortable throughout their visit.”
Danielle has a particular passion for patient education and helping individuals understand the steps they can take to improve their oral health. She also finds working with patients receiving deep cleaning treatments especially rewarding, as she enjoys seeing their progress and helping them feel comfortable during their appointments.
Before joining Babylon Dental Care, Danielle stayed current with advancements in dental hygiene through professional resources, including hygiene-focused publications and continuing education platforms. She said she was drawn to Babylon Dental Care because of the practice's commitment to providing clinicians with the support, tools, and environment needed to deliver exceptional patient care.
